Frustrated... hours spent searching for the perfect white cotton long sleeve tee... one that holds up 

 inspire an organic evolution in the way we consume... brands that  create RIPPLES OF CONSCIOUSNESS that actually make a difference.

Living consciously is NOT about perfection. That's impossible. Trust me. For a long time, you had limited choices. It was made with organic cotton, but manufactured in China. Now, if you wanted made in America, it probably wasn't organic. And if it were both made responsibly AND organic... it was probably pretty granola. Now, there are many more choices... you can find great options with bar shampoo doesn't work for my hair. It's also disappointing when what arrives in the mail is ANYTHING like how it's described. Why I prefer to do my shopping IRL. Less returns that way, too.

It's easy to get overwhelmed when shopping sustainably... and there are enough people in the movement who think perfection is attainable, but it's not. 

Below are brands doing things mostly right, brands who trailblazed through fashion before sustainability was on trend, brands who might be organic, but they're Made in America and pay their people a living wage. You won't find leather, but you will find animal fibers.... and honey... and the brands using plastic are specific. This is a no greenwashing zone, and I don't believe recycled plastic bottles make a brand sustainable. Rather each of these items have a place in my life... from movement to
